Super Sweet Cars From The Movies

BumbleBee Transformers Car
Some cars have become quite famous after a memorable appearance in a movie and have fetched prices in the million dollar range. Here is a list of some of the coolest cars to ever grace the silver screen.
Mustang GT-“Bullitt”- This well known classic movie features a 1968 Ford Mustang GT. It was super powerful for its time and as a matter of fact, it’s still powerful for today!  Equipped with an impressive a V8 engine with 325 HP, this smooth and cool ride had a major role in an intense seven minute car chase scene. With all of that power and hp, you know the chase was a nail biting one!
Aston Martin DB5 “GoldFinger”- It only makes sense that a British special agent would drive one of the finest British automobiles ever created.  Mr Bond drives a classic DB5 in both the “Goldfinger” and “Thunderball” movies. The actual DB5 model that was driven by Sean Connery  was recently purchased at a British auction at the price $4.6 million dollars.
Bumblebee-“Transformers ”- BumbleBee is the bright yellow Camaro driven by Shia Lebouf in Transformers.  She sports a bold look with painted black stripes on a yellow background and looks just like a bumblebee. In October of 2010, Bumblebee was involved in a car accident in Maryland which was not written in the scene; a police cruiser who wasn’t aware that filming was occurring in the area accidentally hit Bumblebee on the side.  If you would like a Camaron in the style of Bumblebee, now you if your purchase Chevrolet’s Transformers Special Edition package for the Camaro. This will get you Autobot insignia fender bags and wheel s.
Ford Edge-“Quantum Of Solace” –You would expect an stylish and dashing like James Bond to emerge out of a Aston Martin, Bentley or at the least a Mercedes Benz but in “Quantum Of Solace” he shocks us all by arriving at his hotel in a Ford Edge. James Bond drive doesn’t just any Ford Edge in the movie, but an environmentally friendly Ford Edge fueled by a hydrogen fuel cell.  It’s the perfect vehicle for a Bond of the current times; one who is aware of the issues of our times.
Next time when you’re at the movies, take a closer look at the cars in the background. You never know, they could end up being iconic cars!
