The Internet is a wonderful thing, especially considering that you can take about five seconds out of your day and have a gigantic impact for a worthy cause.
The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation have teamed up with Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed to transform city rec centers into Centers of Hope. With a Maxwell House community initiative called Drops of Good, Falcons fans can band together to help an Atlanta area recreation center win a $50,000 grant.
Falcons fans are encouraged to vote for the Adamsville Recreation Center, located on Atlanta’s west side, in the Drops of Good community project. Fans can vote once per day for the next five days.

The top five community houses will win a $50,000 grant and the Adamsville Recreation Center is currently in sixth place in voting.
An excerpt about the Adamsville Rec Center from the Maxwell House Drops of Good site:
“On the west side of Atlanta stands the Adamsville Recreation Center, a place for all walks of life to come together in a sense of community. Groups from all over Atlanta use the facility for athletic, cultural and artistic engagement, as well as resources to social services for those in need to strengthen children and families. It is truly an asset that impacts people of all cultures and lifestyles. From senior care to computer and job training, the loyal staff serves to help any and all in the community with love and respect. Renovations and upgrades will help make the center more eco- and user friendly, improve safety and structural soundness.”
Let’s help get it done, Falcons fans!
